Cooling and airflow systems

Thermal hardware for miners that run hot.

Xios Air designs and manufactures cooling and airflow equipment for Bitcoin mining and other high-density sites. Engineered by operators who run the miners it protects.

What we do

Heat sets the limit on every site. We build the hardware that moves it.

Airflow

Intake systems that let existing fans move more air, starting with the filter wall that restricts most containers.

Shipping

Evaporative cooling

Wetted-media systems that pull intake temperature down without compressors or refrigerant.

Built to be installed

Every product is designed as a flat-pack kit of aluminum parts that rivets together on site, and is made in the USA. Economical to freight and straightforward to service.

V-pack

Available

A bolt-on intake filter housing built for the Bitmain Antbox. It mounts over the container's existing louvered intake and arranges the filters in V-shaped bays, so the same opening carries about twice the filter area of a flat wall.

Greater filter area means lower restriction, higher airflow from the fans already installed, and longer intervals between cleanings. The filters are washable aluminum mesh rather than disposable fiber media, so they are rinsed and reinstalled instead of replaced.

Filters and installation hardware are included, and the unit is a bolt-on alternative to a fan retrofit. Custom versions for other container models are available on request.

How it works
Test results

Measured on a live Antbox. Same fans, same miners.

Intake velocity and hashboard temperatures were recorded on a running container before and after the V-pack was fitted. No other changes were made.

+82%
Intake air velocity

570 to 1,040 ft/min at the filter face, measured at maximum fan speed.

−4 °C
Average hashboard temperature

60 °C to 56 °C averaged across 77 hashboards in the same container.

0
Additional fans or power

The gain comes from intake geometry alone. Nothing is added to the electrical load.

Flat-pack shipping

All components ship flat on a standard pallet, which lowers freight cost and reduces the risk of transit damage.

Riveted construction

Panels assemble on site with standard rivets. No welding or specialized labor is required, and individual components can be replaced in the field.

Washable aluminum filters

Aluminum mesh filters clip in from the outside and rinse clean, removing the recurring cost of disposable fiber filters.

Modular design

Each wall is built from one standardized panel. Installations scale by adding modules, and spare parts are common across the entire wall.

V-pack Evap

In development

The same doubled face area with evaporative media in place of dry filters, so the wall cools the intake air as well as cleaning it. If you run a site and want an early look, get in touch.

About

Xios Air is based in North Carolina and grew out of day-to-day operations inside a multi-megawatt Bitcoin mining facility. Our products are designed around the constraints of a working site: heat, dust, downtime, and the cost of every retrofit.

We build the equipment we wanted to buy and could not find: lighter, modular, less expensive to ship, and serviceable by the crew already on site.
